According to LAAOR bylaws, the following are standing committees. LAAOR's President can appoint any REALTOR member to committees with confirmation by the board. The President can also create other committees deemed necessary.
Professional Standards Committee
Participates in the grievance and pro-standards actions with Santa Fe Association of Realtors (SFAR).

Legistlative Committee
Keeps in touch with political issues that will affect Los Alamos realtors and real estate.
2008 Committee Chair: Tracy Langford
MLS Committee
Works with the MLS Committee at SFAR to keep Realtors up-to-date with rule changes.

Public Realtions Committee
Public relations for LAAOR.
2008 Committee Chair: Janet "TJ" Taub
Membership Committee
Handles new membership applications and dissemination of membership information including the membership directory.
Education Committee
Provides membership with continuing education classes.

REALTOR Protection Committee
Keeps up with with REALTOR safety procedures.
Finance Committee
Annual budgets and finances.
Social Committee Committee
Social events for LAAOR.
Equal Opportunity Committee
Oversees adhearance with Equal Opportunity regulations.
Grievance Committee
Handles complaints made against a member by the public and works with the Pro-Standards committee.
ByLaws Committee
Reviews the Bylaws and the Policy & Procedures and makes proposals for changes.
Website Committee
Administers LAAOR's website.
